The Islandaire EZ42 Series is a 42” x 16” PTAC and PTHP unit designed for both new construction and direct replacement of existing systems, including Amana, GE, LG, Friedrich, Gree, Trane, and other standard 42-inch PTAC units.

Built for individually zoned heating and cooling, the EZ42 delivers reliable comfort control for hotels, multifamily housing, healthcare facilities, and commercial buildings. The unit is available in multiple configurations, including cooling-only, heat pump with auxiliary electric heat, or straight electric heat options.

Engineered with heavy-duty construction and enhanced indoor noise reduction, the EZ42 provides efficient performance and long-term durability in demanding environments. Its industry-standard 42” width ensures broad compatibility with existing wall sleeves and installations.

Warranty options include a one-year parts and labor warranty with a five-year sealed system warranty, or a two-year parts-only warranty with a five-year sealed system warranty.
